The Mari Girls is a children's entertainment company, creating wonderful and imaginative play experiences and cultivating fascination through Books, Toys, and Digital Entertainment. Our brand and philosophy are rooted in Self-Affirmation, Curiosity, Imagination, Hope and Wonder. Inspiring girls to nourish their spirit by believing in themselves, their power, and unlimited ability for greatness.

Our Story

….and so, the story begins:

From as far back as I can remember, I have been a maker of things and an artist of sorts. Much of my childhood was spent creating imaginary characters who came to life on the pages of a lined notebook. Penciled in images, covered every sheet, and stories seemed to tell themselves.

I fabricated an entire world of wonder as I breathed life into these images and liberated them off the page.  It’s as though I knew their essence and what they wanted to say. With the uncanny ability to see the exceptional in the ordinary, and the extraordinary in the commonplace, there was no end to the awe. Even as I closed my eyes and encountered darkness, it was always there I found the spark. Imagination met me in the quiet space.

 As an adult my childhood dreams were re-imagined, recreated, and brought again to life. Perhaps a more polished and perfected version of imagery, but their essence remained the same. Capturing the true nature of the human spirit, and the heart of a child. The wonder I felt then, never lost its luster.  

The Mari Girls brand was created to cultivate limitless imagination, and to gift the knowing of endless possibilities.  Through the spirit of these characters, children will see themselves and begin to believe that all things are possible. Named after my youngest granddaughter who embodies the essence of a “Mari Girl”. Mari also means “beloved” so what better title to have. It’s a constant reminder of one’s self-worth and the beauty that lies within.

The Mari Girls brand is a philosophy of inordinate essence. A line that fosters Self-Affirmation, Curiosity, Imagination, Hope and Wonder. The characters help illuminate a path allowing girls to follow in their footsteps. For they are each of us, they are all of us, they are every girl, they are The Mari Girls.

At Mari Girls LLC, our vision is to empower girls around the globe to embrace their uniqueness, and authenticity. As a result, we will ignite imagination, spark curiosity, cultivate confidence and nurture a strong sense of hope. We strive to create enchanting and magical experiences through captivating narratives, mesmerizing imagery, interactive play and community engagement. As we connect girls around the world, they will begin to see themselves in others, while still understanding the rarity in themselves. Our mission is to always keep girls curious, aid them in sustaining their sense of wonder, and encourage them to dream in vibrant color.
